OceanJet Fast Ferries Inc will officially start its new route: Cebu to Palompon, Leyte and v.v. route starting tomorrow: December 01 2022. It will be served once a day and it will be a daily service for the people of Palompon, Leyte and its neighboring towns.
This will be OceanJet’s 11th destination in its growing route network and will be served by its vessel: OceanJet 6: A 32-meter monohulled high-speed passenger vessel that is capable of reaching speed of up to 23 knots. The vessel was built in 2003 by Choey Lee Shipyards Ltd of Hong Kong and was brand new when it arrived in the Philippines.
And another fun fact, OceanJet 6’s bow (together with the rest of her sisters: OJ3 and 5) was refitted and converted its conventional bow into an “axe bow” or inverted bow for the vessel to be more efficient in sea keeping.

Arrival in Palompon Port: 1:00 PM
⛴ Palompon, Leyte to Cebu (DAILY)
Departure from Palompon Port: 1:30 PM
Arrival in Pier 1, Cebu: 4:30 PM

⛴ Tourist Class (Aircon) – P1,100 pesos
⛴ Business Class (Aircon)- P1,600 pesos
This new route of OceanJet will cater to the growing number of tourists coming from Cebu who want to go and experience the Kalanggaman island, which is famous for its crystal clear blue waters, white sand beach and its long sandbar is surely something that tourists will look forward to when coming to Palompon, Leyte.
Aside from Kalanggaman Island, you can also explore a lot of tourist sites in Palompon such as Masaba Falls, Tabuk Marine Park and Bird Sanctuary and also the St. Francis Xavier parish which by the way will be celebrating their town fiesta this coming Saturday December 3 2022.
This new route of OceanJet will cater to the growing number of tourists coming from Cebu who want to go and experience the Kalanggaman island faster compared to the conventional ferries and RoRos that are currently operating in the same route.
